I work to convey some of the most complex climate stories and news, especially from the Global South, through videos and sometimes through writing.

Why Do I Do This?

After graduating with a masters in International and Development Economics, and five years of working in the development and humanitarian sector, I decided that I needed to put what I learned to use outside of those spaces. My advocacy had begun to feel empty and I had the creeping sense that relying on institutions and donors could be a very long and bureaucratic game.

After working across areas like refugee and economic affairs, education in emergencies, and faced with the consistent presence of the effects of climate change, waiting didn't seem like much of an option; so I began storytelling on social media, with no clear direction other than an awareness that there was a clear gap in how we convey some of the world's most harrowing realities.

I want to make issues like climate change everyone's business, without the guilt and anxiety (except maybe when its earned). Limited jargon, humor, honest and open conversations.

We will all face the effects of climate change; we can't afford to be divided.

My hypothesis is that stories can help close the gaps that work against the collective good.

What I do

  • create meaningful content
  • host podcasts
  • moderate panels
  • deliver keynote speeches
  • consult companies on their comms strategy around complex climate solutions
  • conduct socioeconomic research around climate change, education, and migration
  • report stories from the grassroots and boardroom levels.
